How to get alerts on new competitor shipments
To get an alert when a competitor ships, save the company in CargoFax Atlas Vault, as a saved search or on a Vault list. Each time a market releases new customs records that name that company, Vault adds them to your list and sends you an email update, and the reports and pivot tables built on that list stay current. The same steps work for a new importer in your HS code or new shipments on a route you watch. Vault email updates follow each market's release schedule: daily US bills of lading with about a one-day lag, weekly Haiti and Peru records, and monthly releases elsewhere.

How does market alerts work in Atlas?

Choose what to follow.
A company, an HS code, or a route between an origin and a port or destination.

Save it in Vault.
Save the search or add the company to a Vault list. Vault checks each new release of the markets you follow.

Get the email update.
When a release adds records that match, Vault adds them to your list and emails you.

Act on it.
Open the new records in Explorer, find your reports and pivot tables already updated, or attach your documents in Docs.

A Vault email update goes out as soon as new data for the followed company, product, or route lands: daily for US records, weekly for Haiti and Peru, and monthly for the other markets. Container tracking in Track runs separately, on the updates posted by supported shipping lines.
