Trade data partnerships

Power Your Platform with Trade Intelligence

CargoFax provides customs trade data to platforms that build it into their own products. Data partnerships suit CRMs, trade finance and credit tools, insurance and risk systems, freight software, and analytics platforms. Partners integrate CargoFax customs records from all 8 markets into the products their customers already use. Those customers then see real import and export activity behind the companies, products, and routes they care about. The data arrives through Files, by FTP, web interface, or API. US bill of lading records are updated daily.

Need the data for your own internal analysis instead? CargoFax Files is the bulk data product for that.

Where it fits

Where does CargoFax data fit?

Platforms build CargoFax customs records into the products their own customers already use. Those customers get trade insight they cannot get anywhere else in the product.

  • CRM and sales platforms. Add shipment activity to company records so sales teams see who imports what, and how often. Your users prospect with real trade activity, not guesswork.
  • Trade finance and credit. Check an applicant's real import and export history before lending. Your clients get faster, better-informed credit decisions.
  • Insurance and risk. Compare a policyholder's declared activity with its customs records. Your underwriters price and monitor risk on evidence.
  • Freight and logistics software. Show which shippers move volume on which routes, ports, and carriers. Your customers find shippers and win freight on active lanes.
  • Commodity and market analytics. Feed declared values and volumes by product and origin into market models. Your subscribers see market moves in the customs records behind them.
  • Business intelligence and data warehouses. Join customs records to internal customer and supplier data. Your users answer trade questions inside the tools they already use.
