Our story
Why CargoFax exists
Global trade data platforms that rely on US bills of lading only see goods shipped to the United States. That leaves large parts of the Americas in the dark: Haiti does not publish shipment-level trade data in an open, searchable format, and customs records in other markets are hard to use without cleaning and consistent HS codes.
Since 2020, CargoFax has distributed customs trade data. Today, CargoFax covers the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, Peru, and the Dominican Republic, with exclusive access to Haiti trade data. The goal is simple: a distributor, exporter, bank, or researcher should be able to see real trade activity in any of these markets, in one place, with the same HS codes.
